A Reminder of the Past (Fleet No.349)

The photograph below marks the closure of the ‘Old Laira Bridge’ on Friday 1st June 1962 by Lord Chesham of the Ministry of Transport.  It shows the last Western National bus to cross the old bridge and was taken by Inspector Burt’s Wife.
